Impact on the System
HyperCDP objects or HyperCDP consistency groups may fail to be created in the system.
Possible Causes
- The storage pool is faulty.
- The disk domain is faulty.
- The LUN in the HyperCDP schedule is faulty.
- The number of LUNs in the system reaches the upper limit.
- The number of HyperCDP objects in the system reaches the upper limit.
- The used capacity or protection capacity of the storage pool reaches the upper limit.
- The LUN or protection group of the schedule is in the rollback process.
Procedure
- Check whether alarms are generated for the LUN and the storage pool that houses the LUN in the HyperCDP schedule.
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating that the disk domain is faulty.
- Check whether the number of LUNs or HyperCDP objects reaches the upper limit.
- Check whether the LUN in the HyperCDP schedule is the target LUN of clone synchronization, clone reverse synchronization, snapshot, or HyperCDP rollback.
- Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
