Impact on the System
The reliability of the storage array deteriorates. In system upgrade or some fault scenarios, service continuity may be affected.
Possible Causes
After LUNs are mapped to the host, disk scanning is not performed on the host, causing the failure to detect some or all disks.
Procedure
- Scan for disks on the host and wait about 3 minutes. Check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If yes=>no further action is required.
- If no=> Step2.
- If the storage array cannot connect to the host any more, for example, the host mapping is permanently deleted or the host is permanently faulty, this alarm needs to be manually cleared.
- Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
