Creating a HyperCDP Object
Creating a HyperCDP object is to generate a consistent data copy of a source LUN at a specific point in time. The data in the copy is the same as that in the source LUN at the point in time when the HyperCDP object was created.
Prerequisites
- The HyperCDP license is valid.
- Features that conflict with HyperCDP are not configured on the source LUN.
- The storage pool where the source LUN resides has sufficient capacity. If the available capacity is 0, HyperCDP objects cannot be created for the source LUN.
- No snapshot or HyperCDP object of the source LUN is in the Rolling back state.
Context
After HyperCDP objects are created, the system will automatically activate the HyperCDP objects.
Procedure
