Modifying a HyperCDP CG
This operation enables you to modify the name and rollback speed of a HyperCDP CG.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Plans > HyperCDP > HyperCDP CGs.
- Click
on the right of the desired HyperCDP CG and select Modify.
The Modify HyperCDP CG page is displayed.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to go to the Modify HyperCDP CG page:
- Click the name of the desired HyperCDP CG. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, select Modify from the Operation drop-down list.
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUN Groups. Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select HyperCDP from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the desired HyperCDP CG and select Modify.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Protection Groups.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select HyperCDP from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the desired HyperCDP CG and select Modify.
- Click the value in the HyperCDP CGs column of the desired PG if the value is not 0. On the Protection tab page, select HyperCDP from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the desired HyperCDP CG and select Modify.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select HyperCDP from the drop-down list. Click
- Configure basic information for the HyperCDP CG.

Description
Name
Name of the HyperCDP CG.
NOTE:If the HyperCDP CG is generated by a HyperCDP schedule, the CG will be removed from the HyperCDP schedule after the name is changed.
Rollback Speed
Rollback speed of the HyperCDP CG. Possible options are Low, Medium, High, and Highest.
- Low: 0 MB/s to 5 MB/s. Rollback takes a long period of time. This is used when the service load is heavy.
- Medium: 10 MB/s to 20 MB/s. Rollback takes a relatively short period of time. This is used when the service load is relatively heavy.
- High: 50 MB/s to 70 MB/s. Rollback takes a short period of time. This is used when the service load is relatively light.
- Highest: Above 100 MB/s. Rollback takes a very short period of time. This is used when the service load is light.NOTE:
- When service load on the storage system is heavy, set the value to Low or Medium.
- When service load on the storage system is light, set the value to High or Highest.
- Click OK.
