Resuming Synchronization or Reverse Synchronization
This section describes how to resume synchronization or reverse synchronization for a clone pair.
Prerequisites
- Health Status of the clone CG is Normal.
- Running Status of the clone CG for which you want to resume synchronization is Sync paused.
- Running Status of the clone CG for which you want to resume reverse synchronization is FullCopy reverse sync paused or DiffCopy reverse sync paused.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Clone CGs.
- Select the desired clone CG and choose Synchronize > Resume or Reverse Sync > Resume.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to resume synchronization or reverse synchronization for a clone CG:
- Click
on the right of the desired clone CG and select Resume Sync or Resume Reverse Sync.
- Click the name of the clone CG. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, click Operation and then select Resume Sync or Resume Reverse Sync.
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUN Groups.
- Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Select the desired clone CG and choose Synchronize > Resume or Reverse Sync > Resume.
- Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the desired clone CG and select Resume Sync or Resume Reverse Sync.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Protection Groups.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Select the desired clone CG and choose Synchronize > Resume or Reverse Sync > Resume.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the desired clone CG and select Resume Sync or Resume Reverse Sync.
- Click the value in the Clone CGs column of the desired PG if the value is not 0. On the Protection tab page, select Clone from the drop-down list. Select the desired clone CG and choose Synchronize > Resume or Reverse Sync > Resume.
