This section describes how to view information about a clone CG to manage the CG.
Context
- On the clone CG management page, click
to refresh the information about the clone CG.
- On the clone CG management page, click
or
next to a parameter, and enter a keyword or select a value to search for the desired clone CGs.
- On the clone CG management page, click
and select clone CG information you want to view.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Clone CGs.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to view the clone CG information:
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUN Groups. Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Protection Groups. Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Protection Groups. If the value of Clone CGs is not 0, click the value.
- In the function pane, view the clone CG information. Table 4-1 describes the parameters.Table 4-1 Clone CG parameters
Parameter
Description
Name
Name of a clone CG.
NOTE:You can click the name of a clone CG to view its details and manage it.
ID
ID of a CG.
Health Status
Health status of a clone CG. The value can be Normal or Faulty.
- Normal: The clone CG is working properly, and data can be synchronized.
- Faulty: The PG or target LUN is faulty and data synchronization cannot be performed.
Running Status
Running status of a clone CG. Possible values are:
- Unsynchronized: A CG has been created, but synchronization has not been performed or the synchronizing task is stopped.
- Synchronizing: Data is being synchronized from the source object to the target LUN.
- Normal: Data synchronization has been completed.
- Sync paused: Data synchronization is paused. After it is resumed, data that has not been synchronized will be synchronized from the source object to the target LUN.
- FullCopy reverse syncing: All data is being restored from the target LUN to the source object.
- DiffCopy reverse syncing: Differential data between the target LUN and the source object is being reversely synchronized from the target LUN to the source object.
- FullCopy reverse sync paused: Full reverse synchronization is paused. After it is resumed, all data that has not been restored will be restored from the target LUN to the source object.
- DiffCopy reverse sync paused: Incremental reverse synchronization is paused. After it is resumed, all differential data that has not been restored will be restored from the target LUN to the source object.
- Initializing: The HyperClone CG is being created.
- Deleting: The HyperClone CG is being deleted.
PG
Name of the PG for which a clone CG is created.
Copy Speed
Copy speed of a CG. Possible values are Low, Medium, High, and Highest.
- Low: 0 to 5 MB/s. At this setting, data copy takes a long period. This is used when the service load is heavy.
- Medium: 10 MB/s to 20 MB/s. At this setting, data copy takes a relatively short period. This is used when the service load is relatively heavy.
- High: 40 MB/s to 70 MB/s. At this setting, data copy takes a short period. This is used when the service load is relatively light.
- Highest: 1 GB/s (with host services) to 1.5 GB/s (no host services) for a single controller enclosure. Data copy takes the shortest period.
