Managing Clone Pairs
This section describes how to configure a clone pair, enabling data to be migrated by copying all data from source objects to target LUNs between storage systems. If data loss occurs in source objects, data in target LUNs can be restored to source objects.
- Viewing Clone Pairs
This section describes how to view the clone pair basic information. - Modifying a Clone Pair
This section describes how to modify information about a clone pair. - Starting Synchronizing or Reversely Synchronizing a Clone Pair
This section describes how to start synchronizing or reversely synchronizing a clone pair. In this way, the storage system can start synchronizing data from the source object to the target LUN or reversely synchronizing data from the target LUN to the source object. - Pausing Synchronizing or Reversely Synchronizing a Clone Pair
This section describes how to pause synchronizing or reversely synchronizing a clone pair when system services are busy. In this way, the storage system can temporarily stop synchronizing data from the source object to the target LUN or reversely synchronizing data from the target LUN to the source object. In off-peak hours, you can resume synchronization or reverse synchronization. - Resuming Synchronizing or Reversely Synchronizing a Clone Pair
This section describes how to resume synchronizing or reversely synchronizing a clone pair. In this way, the storage system can resume synchronizing data that has not been synchronized from the source object to the target LUN or reversely synchronizing data that has not been reversely synchronized from the target LUN to the source object. - Stopping Synchronizing or Reversely Synchronizing a Clone Pair
This section describes how to stop data synchronization between a source LUN and a target LUN. If synchronization is stopped, the system only retains the pair relationship. When you start synchronization again, the system performs an initial synchronization. - Deleting a Clone Pair
This section describes how to delete a clone pair. After the clone pair is deleted, pair relationship between the source object and the target LUN will be removed.
