Configuration Process
This section describes the process of configuring HyperClone on DeviceManager.

- You cannot create a clone consistency group for clone pairs on DeviceManager. You need to add source LUNs to the protection group and then create a consistency group for the protection group. Then, the system automatically creates a secondary LUN for each source LUN in the protection group.
- To add a clone pair to a consistency group, you can run the create clone_consistency_group command on the CLI. For details, see the command reference corresponding to your product model.
Configure SAN services on DeviceManager. For details on how to log in to DeviceManager, see "Logging In to DeviceManager" in the Basic Storage Service Configuration Guide for Block corresponding to your product model.
