Deleting a Clone CG
If a clone CG is no longer needed, you can delete it.
Prerequisites
- Health Status of the clone CG is Normal.
- Running Status of the clone CG is Unsynchronized or Normal.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Clone CGs.
- Select the desired clone CG and click Delete.
Confirm your operation as prompted.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to delete a clone CG:
- Click
on the right of the clone CG and select Delete.
- Click the name of the clone CG. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, click Operation and then select Delete.
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUN Groups.
- Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Select the desired clone CG and click Delete.
- Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the clone CG and select Delete.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Protection Groups.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Select the desired clone CG and click Delete.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the clone CG and select Delete.
- Click the value in the Clone CGs column of the desired PG if the value is not 0. On the Protection tab page, select Clone from the drop-down list. Select the desired clone CG and click Delete.
- Click the value in the Clone CGs column of the desired PG if the value is not 0. On the Protection tab page, select Clone from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the clone CG and select Delete.
- Click
- Select Delete target LUNs based on requirements.
