Viewing Clone Pairs
This section describes how to view the clone pair basic information.
Context
- On the clone pair management page, click
to refresh clone pair information.
- On the clone pair management page, click
or
next to a parameter, and enter a keyword or select a value to search for the desired clone pairs.
- On the clone pair management page, click
and select the clone pair parameters you want to view.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > Clone Pairs.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to view the clone pair information:
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUNs. Click the name of the desired LUN. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > LUNs. Click the name of the desired LUN. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Clone from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > LUNs. If the value of Clone Pairs is not 0, click the value.
- In the function pane, view the clone pair information. Table 3-1 describes the parameters.Table 3-1 Clone pair parameters
Parameter
Description
Source LUN Name
Name of the source LUN in a clone pair.
Target LUN Name
Name of the target LUN in a clone pair.
ID
ID of a clone pair.
Health Status
Health status of a clone pair. Possible values are as follows:
- Normal: Functions and running performance of the clone pair are normal and without error.
- Faulty: The source LUN or target LUN is faulty and data synchronization cannot be performed.
Running Status
Running status of a clone pair. Possible values are as follows:
- Unsynchronized: The clone pair has been created but data has not been synchronized or the data synchronization has been stopped.
- Synchronizing: Data is being synchronized from the source object to the target LUN.
- Normal: Data synchronization has completed.
- Sync paused: Data synchronization is paused. After it is resumed, data that has not been synchronized will be synchronized from the source object to the target LUN.
- FullCopy reverse syncing: All data is being reversely synchronized from the target LUN to the source object.
- DiffCopy reverse syncing: Differential data between the target LUN and the source object is being reversely synchronized from the target LUN to the source object.
- FullCopy reverse sync paused: Full reverse synchronization is paused. After it is resumed, all data that has not been reversely synchronized will be reversely synchronized from the target LUN to the source object.
- DiffCopy reverse sync paused: Incremental reverse synchronization is paused. After it is resumed, all differential data that has not been reversely synchronized will be reversely synchronized from the target LUN to the source object.
- Initializing: The clone pair is being created.
- Deleting: The clone pair is being deleted.
Owning Clone CG
The clone CG to which a clone pair belongs.
Copy Speed
Data copy speed of a clone pair. Possible values are as follows:
- Low: 0 to 5 MB/s. Data copy takes a long period.
- Medium: 10 MB/s to 20 MB/s. Data copy takes a relatively short period.
- High: 40 MB/s to 70 MB/s. Data copy takes a short period.
- Highest: 1 GB/s (with host services) to 1.5 GB/s (no host services) for a single controller enclosure. Data copy takes the shortest period.
