Creating a LUN Group
This section describes how to create a LUN group to facilitate the management of multiple LUNs that store data for the same user application.
Prerequisites
A storage pool has been created.
Description
- To create a LUN group, log in to DeviceManager and choose Services > Block Service > LUN Groups.
- You only need to create a local LUN group on one storage system. When Pair Creation is set to Automatic, HyperMetro automatically creates remote LUNs and a remote LUN group on the other storage system.
- The mappings for the local and remote LUN groups can be configured when you create the HyperMetro consistency group.
