Viewing HyperMetro Pair Information
This operation enables you to view information about a HyperMetro pair, including basic information about HyperMetro and HyperMetro pair information so that you can effectively monitor the operating status of the HyperMetro pair.
Context
- On the HyperMetro management page, you can click
to refresh HyperMetro information.
- On the HyperMetro management page, you can click
next to a parameter and select a parameter value to obtain the desired HyperMetro information.
- On the HyperMetro management page, you can click
and select the HyperMetro information you want to view.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs.
You can also view the HyperMetro pair information as follows:
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUNs. Click the name of the desired LUN. On the page that is displayed on the right, click the Protection tab, and then select HyperMetro from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > LUNs and click the name of the desired LUN. On the page that is displayed on the right, click the Protection tab, and then select HyperMetro from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > LUNs. If the value of HyperMetro Pairs is not 0, click the value.
- Click the HyperMetro Pairs tab. In the function pane, view information about HyperMetro pairs listed in Table 12-4.Table 12-4 HyperMetro pair parameters
Parameter
Description
Local Resource
Name of a local resource.
Remote Resource
Name of a remote resource.
ID
ID of a HyperMetro pair.
Health Status
Indicates whether the local and remote resources in a HyperMetro pair are healthy. Possible values are Normal and Faulty.
Running Status
Running status of the local and remote resources in a HyperMetro pair. Possible values are Normal, Synchronizing, Invalid, Paused, Force started, and To be synchronized.
Link Status
Status of a link connected to a HyperMetro pair.
Local Resource Role
Indicates whether the local resource is provided by the preferred site.
Recovery Policy
Fault recovery mode. Possible options are as follows:
- Manual: If a HyperMetro pair is in To be synchronized status, management and maintenance personnel need to manually perform the Synchronize operation on the HyperMetro pair based on site requirements, so that data can be synchronized between the local and remote resources.
- Automatic: If a HyperMetro pair is in Synchronizing status, the system automatically and incrementally synchronizes differential data from the primary resource to the secondary resource based on site requirements.
Owning HyperMetro Domain
HyperMetro domain to which a HyperMetro pair belongs.
Owning HyperMetro CG
Name of the CG to which a HyperMetro pair belongs.
Data Sync Direction
Data synchronization direction. Possible values are Local to remote and Remote to local.
Local Resource Data Status
Data status of a local resource.
Remote Resource Data Status
Data status of a remote resource.
Local Resource Host Access Status
Data read and write status of a local resource.
Remote Resource Host Access Status
Data read and write status of a remote resource.
