Deleting a Snapshot CG
This section describes how to delete a snapshot CG. After the snapshot CG is deleted, the resources it occupies are released.
Prerequisites
- You have created a snapshot CG in the storage system.
- The members of a snapshot CG do not belong to a LUN group.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Snapshot CGs.
- Select the desired snapshot CG and click Delete.
Confirm your operation as prompted.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to delete a snapshot CG:
- Click
on the right of the snapshot CG and select Delete.
- Click the name of the snapshot CG. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, click Operation and then select Delete.
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUN Groups.
- Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Snapshot from the drop-down list. Select the desired snapshot CG and click Delete.
- Click the name of the desired LUN group. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Snapshot from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the snapshot CG and select Delete.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Protection Groups.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Snapshot from the drop-down list. Select the desired snapshot CG and click Delete.
- Click the name of the desired PG. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Snapshot from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the snapshot CG and select Delete.
- Click the value in the Snapshot CGs column of the desired PG if the value is not 0. On the Protection tab page, select Snapshot from the drop-down list. Select the desired snapshot CG and click Delete.
- Click the value in the Snapshot CGs column of the desired PG if the value is not 0. On the Protection tab page, select Snapshot from the drop-down list. Click
on the right of the desired snapshot CG and select Delete.
