Splitting Multiple SmartMigration Pairs Consistently
Consistency split means that multiple SmartMigration pairs are split at the same time, which ensures data consistency of the target LUN and does not affect the normal service running of the target LUN.
Prerequisites
- At least one SmartMigration pair has been created.
- SmartMigration is in normal status.
Precautions
After splitting, write requests sent by production hosts to the source LUN are not sent to the target LUN.
Procedure
- Choose Services > Resource Tuning > SmartMigration.
- Select the pairs that you want to split and click Consistency Split.
The Perform Consistency Splitting dialog box is displayed.
- Select pairs from Available Pairs and click
to add the pairs to Selected Pairs.
- Click OK.
Confirm your operation as prompted.
