Logging In to the iBMC WebUI
This section uses a PC running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11.0 as an example.
For details about system configuration requirements of the local PC, see the Atlas 800 Inference Server iBMC User Guide (Model 3000).
- Connect the local PC to the iBMC management network port of the server by using a crossover cable or twisted pair cable.
Figure 5-39 shows the network diagram.
- Open Internet Explorer on the local PC.
- Enter the IP address of the iBMC system (for example, https://192.168.2.100) in the address box.
- Press Enter.
The iBMC login page is displayed, as shown in Figure 5-40.
- If "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" is displayed, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
- If the system displays the Security Alert dialog box indicating a certificate error, click Yes.
- On the login page, enter the user name and password. For details about the default user name and password, see Atlas Hardware Product User List.
If you enter incorrect passwords for five consecutive times, the system will lock your account. Your account will be automatically unlocked 5 minutes later.
- Select Local iBMC from the Domain drop-down list.
- Click Log In.
The Home page is displayed. Move the cursor to
in the upper right corner of the page to display the current user name.
Changing the IP Address of the iBMC Management Network Port
- On the iBMC home page, choose iBMC Settings > Network Settings.
- Locate the Network Protocols area and configure the network based on the site requirements.
- Click Save.
