Drive Numbers
When the drive management mode is PCH, each SATA drive has a fixed ATA number. ATA numbers provided in this section are based on the assumption that the drive management mode is PCH. The following table lists the mapping between ATA numbers and physical drive numbers.
- 8 x 2.5" drive pass-through configuration
Slots 0 to 7 are front drive slots and only support SAS/SATA drives. Slots 44 to 47 are rear drive slots and only support NVMe drives.
