Failed to Start the Device Due to Reset or Power-off
Symptom 1
During the software package installation or upgrade, the device is reset or powered off. As a result, the firmware is damaged and the device cannot be started properly.
Solution 1
- Run the reboot command for three consecutive times at an interval of more than 10 seconds to reset the device.
- If the device still fails to boot, power off and reboot the device.
Symptom 2
During the software package installation or upgrade, the host is reset or powered off. As a result, the upgrade fails or the device cannot be started properly.
Solution 2
- If the device can be booted properly, upgrade the software package again.
- If the device fails to be start, resolve the problem by following the procedure described in Solution 1.
