Installing a Fire Extinguisher Cylinder
- Install the fire extinguisher cylinder vertically in the lithium battery side cabinet.
- Keep the fire extinguisher cylinder upright.
- Ensure that the front of the pressure gauge faces the front door panel of the cabinet.

- Loosen the cable clip at position A so that the fire-trace tube can be routed smoothly, and take out the fire-trace tube and dry contact cable reserved on the side.
- Route the fire-trace tube and dry contact cable along the path shown in the figure, and route them through the hole on the top of the cabinet.
- Secure all cable clips, and arrange the fire-trace tube and dry contact cable.

- Route the fire-trace tube and dry contact cable through the corrugated pipe, and secure the ends of the corrugated pipe.
- Route the corrugated pipe, fire-trace tube, and dry contact cable through the hole in the lithium battery side cabinet.
- Secure the corrugated pipe and dry contact cable using cable ties.
- Secure the fire-trace tube to the buckle.

- If two SmartLi cabinets and one lithium battery side cabinet are configured, connect the dry contact cable in the left SmartLi to the lower fire extinguisher cylinder, and connect the dry contact cable in the right SmartLi to the upper fire extinguisher cylinder.
- The end pressure gauge of the cabinet is used to determine whether the pressure of the fire extinguisher cylinder decreases during routine O&M inspection.
Figure 5-31 Connecting dry contact cable terminals - Install the fire-trace tube.
- Do not bend or twist the fire-trace tube or bind the tube using cable ties. Otherwise, the tube may be damaged, causing extinguishant leakage.
- Hold the pipe holding device close to the end to avoid bending the tube during pipe insertion.
- Clamp the end of the fire-trace tube to the threaded nozzle using a pipe holder or slip-proof gloves.
- Tighten the connection nut to 7 N·m using an adjustable torque wrench.Figure 5-32 Installing the fire-trace tube using a pipe holder

- Remove the valve positioning kit, open the valve, reinstall the positioning kit, and secure it.
- Slowly open the valve. To avoid unexpected blowout, do not quickly open the valve.
- The end pressure gauge of the cabinet is used to determine whether the pressure of the fire extinguisher cylinder decreases during routine O&M inspection.
Figure 5-33 Opening the valve - Observe the end pressure gauge on the front of the cabinet and record the position of the pressure gauge pointer. 8 hours later, observe the pressure gauge again. The position should remain unchanged. If the pressure decreases, leakage occurs. In this case, contact technical support.
