Cables
When selecting, connecting, and routing cables, follow local safety regulations and rules.
When the external conditions such as cable routing or ambient temperature change, perform verification in accordance with the IEC 60364-5-52 or local regulations.

Parallel cable

Delivered with the SmartLi cabinet. Two types of communications cables are available: 5 m and 15 m. Select one based on the distance between cabinets connected in parallel. A maximum of four 15 m communications cables are supported.
UPS communications cable

If the SmartLi is used with the UPS5000-E, UPS5000-S, or UPS5000-H, the cable is delivered with the SmartLi cabinet. You need to crimp RJ45 connectors onto the network cable onsite.
If the SmartLi is used with the integrated UPS in a smart module, the cable is delivered with the system. The cable BOM number is 04071114-001.
Battery module power cable

Preinstalled at the bottom of the SmartLi cabinet.
Battery module communications cable

Four cables are preinstalled in the SmartLi cabinet, and the others are delivered with battery modules.
