Installing Communications Cables
Installing Communications Cables Between Lithium Battery Cabinets
You are advised to place lithium battery cabinets and connect parallel cables in the sequence shown in the figure to avoid inconsistency between the actual number of a lithium battery cabinet and the number displayed on its monitoring screen. If the number displayed on the monitoring screen of a lithium battery cabinet is N and its PARALLEL1 port is connected to the PARALLEL2 port of another lithium battery cabinet, the number displayed on the monitoring screen of the latter lithium battery cabinet is N+1.
Installing a Communications Cable Between the Master Lithium Battery Cabinet and the UPS
- The following figure shows how to connect a communications cable between the SmartLi and the integrated UPS.
- W1 and W2, and W3 and W4 respectively use a group of twisted-pair cables, and other redundant core wires are cut off.
- The cable colors in the figure are for reference only. The actual cable colors may vary.
- Communications cables between the SmartLi and other UPS models are connected using standard network cables.
- If more than eight SmartLi cabinets are connected in parallel, a maximum of four 15 m parallel communications cables are supported.
