Operating System Requirements (Physical Machine)
eSight allows customers to prepare Linux operating systems by themselves. In this case, the customers need to check the network scale and physical machine software and hardware configurations as required to ensure normal eSight installation.
Ensure that the items listed in the following table satisfy the requirements. Otherwise, eSight may fail to be installed, deployed, and operated.

Disk partition |

Time zone and time |
The time and time zone of the active and standby servers must be the same.

Firewall |
The firewall must be disabled. For details, see How Do I Disable the Firewall on the SUSE Linux. |
Kdump settings |
Set the Kdump dump directory to "/opt/crash". For details, see How Do I Set the Kdump on SUSE Linux. |
Number of handles |
If the user provides the operating system, ensure that the number of handles of the operating system is greater than or equal to 65535. If the user provides the operating system, perform the following steps to check and change the number of operating system handles:

Command output after user login |
A message is displayed, indicating that the operating system is provided by the user after user login. Ensure that no redundant information is displayed after login. Perform the following steps to check the command output after user login:
