Obtaining the IP Addresses of the Physical Machines Where VMs Are Located
This section describes how to obtain the IP addresses of the physical machines where VMs are located.
Prerequisites
You have logged in to the FusionSphere OpenStack management console.
Procedure
- Log in to the FusionSphere OpenStack management console. The Google Chrome browser is recommended.
- Enter https://IP address of the FusionSphere OpenStack reverse proxy:8890 to log in to the installation deployment page of the FusionSphere OpenStack, choose Cloud Service > FusionSphere OpenStack OM, and click the FusionSphere OpenStack OM link to access the FusionSphere OpenStack management console.
- Set View Type to Administrator View, enter User Name and Password, and click Log in.
Set User Name and Password to those collected in section "Collecting Information."
- Choose Resources > Computing > Computing Instances from the main menu.
- Record the Host ID corresponding to the VMs.
- Choose Resources > Computing > Hosts from the main menu.
- On the Hosts tab page, locate the Mgt. IP Address corresponding to the Host ID, that is, the IP addresses of the physical machines where the VMs are located.
