Uninstalling eSight
If eSight is not used any more, installation personnel can uninstall eSight from the active and standby eSight servers using the service deployment system.
Procedure
- Log in to the active eSight server as the ossuser user. For the preset password, see the eSight User List released with the version (Support: https://support.huawei.com/carrier/docview!docview?nid=DOC1100890341; Support-E: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100227876).
- Run the following commands to uninstall eSight:
cd /opt/ommha/ha
./uninstall.sh
If the following information is displayed, eSight is uninstalled successfully:
begin to check ssh credit... begin to uninstall remote eSight, please wait... begin to uninstall local eSight, please wait... stop HA successfully. uninstall finish. Notice:User ossuser and user group ossgroup of the operating system still exist. Manually delete them.
- (Optional) After eSight is uninstalled, if the VM where eSight is originally installed does not need to be used, delete the VM to release virtual resources.
To delete a VM, log in to the FusionSphere OpenStack management console, choose Resources > Computing > Compute Instances > VMs, find the eSight VM record, and choose More > Delete.
- (Optional) After deleting the VM, delete the eSight image to release storage resources.
To delete the image, log in to the FusionSphere OpenStack management console, choose Resources > Computing > Images, find the eSight image record, and choose More > Delete.
