Answer
The following uses the active server as an example. After the operations are complete, perform the operations again on the standby server.
- Use VNC to log in to the operating system of the active server as the root user.
- Run the following command in the command terminal. The YaST2 Control Center window is displayed.
#yast2
- Choose System > Network Settings. The Network Settings page is displayed.
- Click the Overview tab.
- Click Add. The Hardware Dialog page is displayed.
Set Device Type to Bond and set Configuration Name based on the installation plan, for example, bond2.
- Click Next. The Network Card Setup page is displayed.
- Click the Address tab and set the IP address, subnet mask, and host name.
- Click the Bond Slaves tab and select slave network adapters based on the installation plan.
- Click Next, click the Overview tab, and view the setting result.
- Click OK.
