Running the Fault Clearing Tool
If the NMSServer resource is faulty on the active server, the status of the NMSServer resource is displayed as exception. In this case, the active server becomes the standby server. You need to use the fault clearing tool to clear the status. Otherwise, the standby server cannot become the active server again.
Procedure
- Log in to the standby eSight server as the ossuser user. For the preset password, see the eSight User List released with the version (Support: https://support.huawei.com/carrier/docview!docview?nid=DOC1100890341; Support-E: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100227876).
- Run the following commands to start the fault clearing tool:
cd /opt/ommha/ha/bin
./clearrmfault.sh
- If the following information is displayed, the operation is successful:
Congratulations, exec successfully.
