Configuring VM Services
Some storage systems support VM services, which virtualize a storage system into VMs to provide services.
For versions earlier than V500R007C70SPC200, only OceanStor 5300 V5 Kunpeng with 64 GB cache capacity per controller supports VM services.
For V500R007C70SPC200 and later versions, the following storage systems support VM services:
- OceanStor 5300 V5 Kunpeng with 64 GB or 128 GB cache capacity per controller
- OceanStor 5500 V5 Kunpeng with 256 GB cache capacity per controller and 24-core 2.6 GHz x 2 Kunpeng 920 processors
For V500R007C71 and later versions, OceanStor 2600 V5 with 64 GB cache capacity per controller supports VM services.
