Execution Process
Figure 11-46 shows the process of adding controllers.
For controller enclosures 0, 1, and 2 in the 2-, 6-, and 10-controller storage systems respectively before expansion, ensure that no Ethernet NICs are installed in slots IOM H9/L9 to IOM H13/L13. If Ethernet NICs have been installed in these slots, remove the Ethernet NICs before controller expansion and insert them back after controller expansion. Otherwise, the Ethernet NICs cannot be used after controller expansion.
