Execution Process
This section describes how to expand controllers from two to four and from six to eight.
Figure 11-4 shows the process of adding controllers.
For expanding controller enclosure 0 from two to four controllers, controller enclosure 1 from six to eight controllers, and controller enclosure 2 from 10 to 12 controllers, ensure that no Ethernet NICs are installed in slots IOM H9/L9 to IOM H13/L13. If Ethernet NICs have been installed in these slots, remove the Ethernet NICs before controller expansion and insert them back after controller expansion. Otherwise, the Ethernet NICs cannot be used after controller expansion.
