Modifying DR Star Trios
This section describes how to modify switchover policies and silent time of DR Star trios.
Prerequisites
- DR Star trios have been created in the system.
- The running status of DR Star trios is not Invalid.
- The local device communicates properly with the HyperMetro remote device and asynchronous remote replication remote device.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups.
- Click the DR Star Trios tab. Select the desired DR Star trio, click
on the right, and select Modify.
The Modify DR Star Trio page is displayed.

Parameter
Description
Name
Name of the DR Star trio.
NOTE:- The name must be unique.
- The name contains letters, digits, underscores (_), periods (.), and hyphens (-), and must start with a letter or digit.
- The name can contain 1 to 31 characters.
Switchover Policy
Indicates whether to automatically switch the status of the asynchronous remote replication CGs in the DR Star trio after a fault occurs. Possible values are Automatic and Manual.
Switchover Silent Time (Minutes)
When Switchover Policy is set to Automatic, the storage system waits until Switchover Silent Time expires if a fault occurs. If the fault persists after Switchover Silent Time expires, the storage system switches the status of two asynchronous remote replication CGs. If the fault is rectified before Switchover Silent Time expires, the storage system will not perform the switchover.
NOTE:This parameter is available only when Switchover Policy is set to Automatic.
- Click OK.
