Manually Switching the Status of Asynchronous Remote Replication Pairs
This section describes how to switch the status of two asynchronous remote replication pairs in a DR Star trio. An asynchronous remote replication pair in the standby state will not synchronize data.
Prerequisites
- The running status of DR Star trios is Enabled.
- The resources of the third site are common remote resources of asynchronous remote replication pairs.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs.
- Click the DR Star Trios tab. Select the desired DR Star trio, click More, and select Manually Switch Over.
Confirm your operation as prompted.
Alternatively, select one of the following methods to switch the status:
- Select the desired DR Star trio, click
on the right, and select Manually Switch Over.
- Click the name of the desired DR Star trio. In the upper right corner of the page displayed, click Operation, and select Manually Switch Over.
- Choose Services > Block Service > LUNs. Click the name of the desired LUN. The LUN information is displayed on the right. Click the Protection tab, and then select DR Star from the drop-down list below. Select the desired DR Star trio, click More, and select Manually Switch Over.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > LUNs.
- Click the name of the desired LUN. The LUN information is displayed on the right. On the Protection tab, select DR Star from the drop-down list below. Select the desired DR Star trio, click More, and select Manually Switch Over.
- Click the value in the DR Star Trios column if the value is not 0. Select the desired DR Star trio, click More, and select Manually Switch Over.
