Checking the License File
A license grants the permission to use specific value-added features. Before configuring 3DC, ensure that the license file allows the use of HyperMetro and HyperReplication.
Prerequisites
A license file has been imported into the storage system.
Context
Ensure that the storage systems at both the production center and intra-city DR center support HyperMetro and HyperReplication, and the storage system at the remote DR center supports HyperReplication. On DeviceManager, the feature name of HyperMetro is displayed as HyperMetro (for LUN), and that of HyperReplication is displayed as HyperReplication (Remote Replication).
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose Settings > License Management.
- In the middle information pane, verify the information about the active license file.
