Failure of Site C
This section describes how the DR Star trio handles the failure of site C and how it restores to the original state before the failure.
DR Mechanism
Services are not affected by the failure of the secondary site of asynchronous remote replication. No service switchover is performed. The Running Status of the asynchronous remote replication relationship between sites A and C is Interrupted, while that between sites B and C is Standby.
Restoration
After site C recovers, the asynchronous remote replication relationship between sites A and C is restored. The Recovery Policy of remote replication takes effect. If the Recovery Policy is Automatic, incremental data synchronization is automatically performed between sites A and C. If the Recovery Policy is Manual, click Synchronize manually. In this case, the original network is restored, and service continuity is not affected.
