Configuring NSR
Context
When the control plane of the system becomes faulty, NSR can switch entries on the faulty control plane to the backup control plane, which is independent of neighbors and does not interrupt route processing.
The system-level NSR function is used in the following situations:
A system fault triggers the active/standby switchover of MPUs.
When upgrading the software or maintaining the system, the administrator manually triggers the active/standby switchover of MPUs.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run switchover mode nonstop-routing
The HA working mode is set to NSR.
Verifying the Configuration
Run the display switchover mode command to verify the HA working mode of the system.
Run the display ip routing-table [ verbose ] command to verify routing information after the active/standby switchover of MPUs.
Run the display fib verbose command to verify forwarding information after the active/standby switchover of MPUs.
