Licensing Requirements and Limitations for Logical Interfaces
Licensing Requirements and Limitations for Logical Interfaces
Involved Network Element
Other network elements are not required.
Licensing Requirements
A logical interface is a basic feature of a switch and is not under license control.
Feature Support in V200R019C10
All models of S7700 series switches support logical interfaces.
For details about software mappings, visit Info-Finder and search for the desired product model.
Feature Limitations
For Layer 2 interfaces, only hybrid and trunk interfaces support Ethernet sub-interface configuration. After a Layer 2 interface is switched to a Layer 3 interface using the undo portswitch command, the interface supports Layer 3 Ethernet sub-interface configuration.
After an interface is added to an Eth-Trunk, you can only configure sub-interfaces on the Eth-Trunk, but not on the interface.
