Configuring a 6PE Peer
Context
A PE device configured with a 6PE peer can exchange routes with an IPv6 device in the IPv6 address family view.
The SA series cards do not support 6PE.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run bgp { as-number-plain | as-number-dot }
The BGP view is displayed.
- Run peer ipv4-address as-number { as-number-plain | as-number-dot }
The peer IP address and the ID of the AS where the peer resides are specified.
- Run peer ipv4-address connect-interface interface-type interface-number
The interface connected to the peer PE is specified.
- Run ipv6-family
The BGP-IPv6 unicast address family view is displayed.
- Run peer ipv4-address enable
The 6PE peer is enabled.
- Run peer ipv4-address label-route-capability
The 6PE device is enabled to exchange labeled routes.
