AS Addition

Procedure

• Create AS fabric-ports.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition and click the Configure AS Fabric-Ports tab.
  2. Click Create and set AS fabric-port parameters, as shown in Figure 5-2.

  3. Select values for AS Fabric-Port Resides On, AS Fabric-Port ID and AS Configuration Mode from the drop-down list. Click Select Ports to select member ports of the fabric-port.
  4. Click to complete the configuration.
• Create AS fabric-ports in a batch.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition and click the Configure AS Fabric-Ports tab.
  2. Click Batch Import to enter the page for batch import of fabric-ports, as shown in Figure 5-3.

  3. Click to download the fabric-port file profile locally and fill in the profile.
  4. Click to select the fabric-port file to be imported.
  5. Click Import to import the selected fabric-port file.
  6. Click Confirm to complete the configuration.
• Delete AS fabric-ports.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition and click the Configure AS Fabric-Ports tab.
  2. Click Delete in the line where the AS fabric-port resides.
  3. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
• Add ASs.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition and click the Manage ASs tab.
  2. Click Create and set AS parameters, as shown in Figure 5-4.

  3. Enter values for AS Name and AS Management MAC.
  4. Click Manage below AS Model. The Manage AS Model dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 5-5.

  5. Select Product series and AS model.
  6. Click ON for AS stacking to preconfigure the AS stack ID.

     Select the slot ID and corresponding product model in the Slot ID-switch drop-down list box, and click .

  7. Click OK to complete the AS model configuration.
  8. Click to complete the configuration.
• Add ASs in a batch.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition and click the Manage ASs tab.
  2. Click Batch Import to enter the page for batch import of ASs, as shown in Figure 5-6.

  3. Click to download the AS file profile locally and fill in the profile.
  4. Click to select the AS file to be imported.
  5. Click Import to import the selected AS file.
  6. Click Confirm to complete the configuration.
• Delete ASs.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition and click the Manage ASs tab.
  2. Select the AS to be deleted and click Delete.
  3. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
• Configure an Eth-Trunk for an AS.
  1. Choose Configuration > SVF Quick Config > AS Addition. Click the Configure Eth-Trunk Ports Of An As tab.
  2. Click and select an AS.
  3. Click OK. The Eth-Trunk configuration page is displayed, as shown in Figure 5-7.

  4. Click the interface that you want to configure.
  5. Set the Eth-Trunk status.

     ON: The Eth-Trunk is enabled.

     OFF: The Eth-Trunk is disabled.

  6. Set the Eth-Trunk ID and mode. Choose whether to join AP Port Group.
  7. Click Apply.
