Message
CSSM/4/CFGINVALID:Failed to configure CSS port [OCTET1], and the port may be unavailable. Please reset slot[OCTET2] and configure the CSS port again.
Description
An error occurred when a user attempted to configure service ports as physical member ports of a CSS port. The service ports became unavailable.

Possible Causes
An active/standby switchover occurred or the active MPU was removed before the CSS port configuration was complete.
Procedure
- Run the port interface enable command
again to configure service ports as physical member ports again.
- If the configuration succeeds, no action is required.
- If the configuration fails, go to step 2.
- Run the reset slot command to reset the corresponding card and then configure
service ports as physical member ports.
- If the configuration succeeds, no action is required.
- If the configuration fails, collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.
CSSM/4/DOWN_DELAY
Message
CSSM/4/DOWN_DELAY: The CSS link changed from Up to Down and then to Up within the configured delay of 500 ms. (CSS port=[STRING], delay time=[ULONG] ms)

Procedure
- Check whether there was only this log displayed in a short
period.
- If so, the CSS link flapped. No action is required.
- If not, go to step 2.
- Check whether the cable and optical module on the port
specified in this log are installed properly.
- If so, go to step 4.
- If not, go to step 3.
- Install the cable and optical module properly and then
check whether this log is still displayed.
- If so, go to step 4.
- If not, the fault has been rectified.
- Replace the cable and optical module and then check whether
this log is still displayed.
- If so, go to step 5.
- If not, the fault has been rectified.
- The CSS port of this device became faulty or a software error occurred on the device. You need to collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.
CSSM/3/FASTUPGRADEFAIL

Possible Causes
- Cause 1: The registration of some boards failed. Board ID=**

Procedure
- If boards of the old version can register but boards of the new version cannot, check whether the new version supports these boards.
- If so, run the reboot fast command.
- If not, replace this board.
- If some boards still cannot register after the version is upgraded to the new version, collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.
CSSM/6/FASTUPGRADEROLLBACK
Message
CSSM/6/FASTUPGRADEROLLBACK: CSS fast upgrade fails, causing chassis[SLOT] to roll back. The reason is: [STRING].

Possible Causes
- Cause 1: The master chassis expired (expiry of the master chassis).

- Cause 3: Configuration restoration of the standby chassis's board expired (expired configuration restoration of the standby chassis board).
Procedure

CSSM/4/CSSSTANDBY
Description
This switch is elected as a standby switch when the CSS is set up or becomes a standby switch after a master/slave switchover is performed.

Description
This switch is elected as the master switch when the CSS is set up or becomes the master switch after a master/slave switchover is performed.

Possible Causes
When the CSS port is Down and the heartbeat expires, the CSS port is unavailable and this log is generated.
Procedure
- If the CSS port is Down because you manually disable it, run the undo shutdown interface { interface-type interface-number1 [ to interface-type interface-number2 ] } &<1-10> enable command in the logical CSS port view to enable the CSS port.
- If the fault persists after all the CSS ports are enabled, remove and then install the cable of the unavailable CSS port.
- If the fault persists, the cable, optical module, or CSS card may fail. Replace the related hardware.
