Parameters
Parameter Name | Parameter Meaning |
---|---|
[ULONG1] |
Indicates the chassis ID of the board. |
[ULONG2] |
Indicates the slot ID of the board. |
[ULONG3] |
Indicates the chip ID. |
[STRING1] |
Indicates the port number of the HG channel. |
[STRING2] |
Indicates the number of CRC error packets. |
Possible Causes
The number of packets discarded because CRC check failed exceeded the threshold. Possible causes are as follows:
- 1. The board is not properly installed.
- 2. The plug-in connected to the board has bent pins.
- 3. The slot on the backplane has bent pins.
- 4. The board is faulty.
Procedure
- Check whether the front panel of the board is securely tightened.
- If so, go to step 2.
- If not, ensure that it is securely tightened.
- Restart the board and check whether the log persists.
- If so, go to step 3.
- If not, the alarm handling ends.
- Remove the board and check whether there are bent pins on the backplane and connector.
- If so, go to step 4.
- If not, go to step 5.
- Replace the board and check whether the log persists.
