How Can I Obtain the Layer 3 Remote Mirroring (ERSPAN) Plug-in and Related Documentation?
In V200R009 and later versions, the Layer 3 remote mirroring function is available only when a plug-in is installed on the switch, but is not included in the system software package.
For a switch that runs a version earlier than
V200R009 and has the Layer 3 remote mirroring function configured:
- If the switch does not load the Layer 3 remote mirroring plug-in before it is upgraded to V200R009 or a later version, the Layer 3 remote mirroring configuration will be lost and the function becomes invalid after the upgrade.
- If you want to use the Layer 3 remote mirroring function after the switch is upgraded to V200R009 or a later version, see the "Precautions" in section "Plug-In Installation Guide" in the Plug-In Usage Guide.
