Functions Overview
LLDP-MIB is used to configure the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP), query the statistics on the sent and received frames, and query the status of the local and remote devices. LLDP-MIB can also send the alarm information to the Network Management System (NMS).
The root object is:
iso(1).std(0).iso8802(8802).ieee802dot1(1).ieee802dot1mibs(1).lldpMIB(2)
By default, the MIB view that can be operated by the NMS contains only the internet object (OID: 1.3.6.1). The OID of this MIB table is 1.0.8802.1.1.2, which is not under the internet object. Therefore, to access this MIB table, run the snmp-agent mib-view included view-name iso command to configure a MIB view that contains all MIB objects, and then run the snmp-agent community { read | write } community-name mib-view view-name command to grant the access permission on this MIB view to the NMS.
