HUAWEI-PWE3-MIB
Functions Overview
Pseudo-Wire Emulation Edge to Edge (PWE3) is an end-to-end technology used to bear Layer 2 services, and belongs to the Layer 2 virtual private network (L2VPN) in the point-to-point mode. PWE3 adopts the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) as the signaling mode, emulates Layer 2 services such as Layer 2 data packets on the Customer Edge (CE) through tunnels such as Multi-protocol Label Switch Protocol Label Switched Paths (MPLS LSPs), or Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) tunnels, and transparently transmits the Layer 2 data of the CE in the PSN network. This emulation is proximate but not absolute. For example, this proximate emulation may cause distortion for the Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) data.
The related draft of PWE3 provides the public MIB. The draft is constantly updated and is not completely consistent with the PWE3 implementation of the device, so the private MIB is defined for the PWE3 module. The task of this module is to implement the functions defined by the private MIB on the managed devices. The PWE3 MIB contains the public MIB.

Description of MIB Tables
hwPWVcTable
This table is a PW configuration table. You can create and delete a PW by using this table.
For the switching PW, related objects of the switch can support the function of query according to the first VC ID.
In a PWE3 scenario, if the primary and secondary VCs are configured with the same VC ID, no operation can be performed in this table.
The indexes of this table are hwPwVcID and hwPwVcType.
