Functions Overview
PIM-STD-MIB is used to implement PIM function.

Relationships Between Tables
Figure 173-1 shows the relationship between pimInterfaceTable, pimNeighborTable and pimNbrSecAddressTable.
Because one PIM interface may have multiple PIM neighbors, indexes of pimInterfaceTable and pimNeighborTable should be the same. You can obtain all the neighbors of a PIM interface through pimInterfaceIfIndex.
One neighbor may have multiple secondary IP addresses because pimNeighborTable and pimNbrSecAddressTable have same pimNeighborIfIndex, pimNeighborAddressType, and pimNeighborAddress indexes. Through the three indexes, you can obtain all the secondary IP addresses of a neighbor.

Modification Restriction
The value of pimInterfaceTrigHelloInterval ranges from 0 to 60 in the MIB and from 1 to 5 in the command line. If you input a value larger than 5 in the command line, the setting fails and an error code is returned.
The minimum values of pimInterfaceHelloInterval, pimInterfaceTrigHelloInterval, pimInterfacePropagationDelay, pimInterfaceHelloHoldtime, pimInterfaceJoinPruneInterval, pimInterfaceJoinPruneHoldtime, pimInterfacePropagationDelay, pimInterfaceOverrideInterval, pimInterfaceEffectPropagDelay, pimInterfaceEffectOverrideIvl, and pimInterfaceGraftRetryInterval are all 0s in the MIB and 1 in the command line. If you input a value smaller than 1 in the command line, the setting fails and an error code is returned.
Deletion Restriction
The entries in this table can be deleted.
Access Restriction
The entries in this table can be read only when multicast is enabled and PIM interfaces are configured.
The values of pimInterfaceHelloInterval and pimInterfaceJoinPruneInterva range from 0 to 18000 in the MIB and from 1 to 2147483647 in the command line. If the value read from the command line is greater than the maximum value in the MIB, the value 18000 is read.
