HUAWEI-RRPP-MIB
Functions Overview
HUAWEI-RRPP-MIB provides the following functions:
Configures the RRPP feature.
Collects the statistics of RRPP packets.
Sends Trap messages.
The OID of the root object is:
iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).private(4).enterprises(1).huawei(2011).huaweiMgmt(5).hwDatacomm(25).hwRrpp(113).hwRrppTable(2)
Relationship Between the Tables
hwRrppDomainTable is a domain table, and hwRrppRingTable is a ring table. One domain can correspond to a maximum of 64 rings.
hwRrppSnoopingInterfaceTable is the configuration table for the RRPP snooping interface. This table has no relationship with other tables. hwRrppSnoopingVsiTable is the VSI configuration table associated with the RRPP snooping interface. This table has no relationship with other tables.

The value of this object identifies the control VLAN ID. In comparison with the data VLAN, the control VLAN is used to transmit only the RRPP protocol packet in the RRPP domain. Each RRPP domain is configured with two control VLANs, that is, the major control VLAN and sub control VLAN. During the configuration, specify only the major control VLAN, and the VLAN with the ID as the control VLAN ID plus one becomes the sub control VLAN. The value of the major control VLAN ranges from 1 to 4093 or 65535. When the control VLAN is not configure, the value of this object is 65535. |

Creation Restriction
The specified control VLAN must be a VLAN that has not been created. The default ID is 65535.
Modification Restriction
The value of hwRrppDomainFailTime must be greater than or equal to three times the value of hwRrppDomainHelloTime.
Deletion Restriction
Before you delete a domain, make sure that no RRPP ring is configured in the domain. Otherwise, the domain cannot be deleted.
Access Restriction
The entries in this table can be read without restraint.

This table describes the information about the attributes of the RRPP ring.
The indexes of this table are hwRrppDomainID and hwRrppRingID.

The value of this object identifies the ID of an RRPP ring. Each RRPP ring maps a physical Ethernet network topology in the shape of a ring. Each RRPP ring is a part of the RRPP domain to which it belongs. Actually, RRPP takes effect on the RRPP ring. The ring in the RRPP domain can be classified into the major ring and the sub-ring. The major ring and the sub-ring are distinguished by their configured levels. The level of the major ring is set to 0; the level of the sub-ring is set to 1. The value ranges from 1 to 64. |

Creation Restriction
The switch on the major ring of the RRPP domain can serve as a master node or a transit node. The switch on the sub-ring can serve as a master node, a transit node, an edge node, or an assistant edge node.
The sub-ring can be created on the following conditions:
When the node is an edge node or an assistant edge node, the public interface of the sub-ring is the interface shared with the major ring.
Modification Restriction
The switch on the major ring of the RRPP domain can serve as a master node or a transit node. The switch on the sub-ring can serve as a master node, a transit node, an edge node, or an assistant edge node.
Deletion Restriction
When deleting a ring, make sure that the ring is disabled; otherwise, the ring cannot be deleted.
Before you delete the major ring, make sure that the sub-ring is deleted. Otherwise, the major ring cannot be deleted.
Access Restriction
The entries in this table can be read without restraint.

Creation Restriction
You can create entries in this table. Nodes on sub-rings in a ring group must be either edge nodes or assistant edge nodes. Meanwhile, these sub-rings must use identical Hello timers and identical Fail timers. To add an activated sub-ring to a ring group, you must first add it on an assistant edge node and then add it on an edge node.
Modification Restriction
The entries in this table cannot be modified.
Deletion Restriction
The entries in this table can be deleted. To delete an activated sub-ring from a ring group, you must first delete it on an assistant edge node and then delete it on an edge node.
Access Restriction
The entries in this table can be read.

This table is the configuration table for the RRPP snooping interface. The table can realize the enabling or disabling of the RRPP snooping function on the interface.

Creation Restriction
The configuration of VPLS must exist on the interface.
Modification Restriction
To delete the configuration of VPLS on the interface and reconfigure VPLS, enable the RRPP snooping function again.

The VPLS configuration is deleted on the interface, and the RRPP snooping function is disabled.

hwRrppSnoopingVsiTable
This table is used to associate the VSI configuration table for the RRPP snooping interface. The table can realize the association of a VSI with the interface.
The indexes of this table are hwRrppSnoopingVsiInterfaceId and hwVsiName.
