Functions Overview
HUAWEI-PIM-STD-MIB is used to manage the PIM protocol.
Root directory:
iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).private(4).enterprises(1).huawei(2011).huaweiMgmt(5).hwDatacomm(25).hwMcast(149).hwPimStdMib(4)
Relationships Between Tables
Figure 98-1 shows the relationship between hwPimInterfaceTable, hwPimNeighborTable, and hwPimNbrSecAddressTable.
Because one PIM interface may have multiple PIM neighbors, indexes of hwPimInterfaceTable and hwPimNeighborTable should be the same. Then, you can obtain all the neighbors of a PIM interface through hwPimInterfaceIfIndex.
One neighbor may have multiple secondary IP addresses because the indexes of hwPimNeighborTable and hwPimNbrSecAddressTable are the same, that is, hwPimNeighborIfIndex, hwPimNeighborAddressType, and hwPimNeighborAddress. Therefore, through the three indexes, you can obtain all the secondary IP addresses of a neighbor.

Creation Restriction
This table supports only CreateAndGo. You must set hwPimInterfaceIfIndex and hwPimInterfaceIpVersion together to succeed in creating a row.
Modification Restriction
The value rang of hwPimInterfaceTrigHelloInterval defined in the MIB is 0 to 60 but the command line supports only 1 to 5. Therefore, if you input a value larger than 5 in the command line, the setting fails and an error code is returned.
The minimum values that can be set for the object, hwPimInterfaceHelloInterval, hwPimInterfaceTrigHelloInterval, hwPimInterfacePropagationDelay, hwPimInterfaceHelloHoldtime, hwPimInterfaceJoinPruneInterval, hwPimInterfaceJoinPruneHoldtime, hwPimInterfacePropagationDelay, hwPimInterfaceOverrideInterval, hwPimInterfaceEffectPropagDelay, hwPimInterfaceEffectOverrideIvl, and hwPimInterfaceGraftRetryInterval, are all 0 but the command line supports the minimum values to be 1. Therefore, if you input a value smaller than 1 in the command line, the setting fails and an error code is returned.
Deletion Restriction
The entries in this table can be deleted without restriction.
Access Restriction
The entries in this table can be read only when multicast is enabled and the interface enabled with PIM exists.
The value ranges of hwPimInterfaceHelloInterval and hwPimInterfaceJoinPruneInterval defined in the MIB are both 0 to 18000 but the command line supports only 1 to 2147483647. Therefore, if the value read from the command line is greater than the maximum value defined in the MIB, the value 18000 is read.
hwPimNeighborTable
This table stores information about neighbors of all PIM interfaces.
The indexes of this table are hwPimNeighborIfIndex, hwPimNeighborAddressType, and hwPimNeighborAddress.

Access Restriction
The objects, hwPimSGKeepaliveTimer, hwPimSGRpRegisterPmbrAddressType, and hwPimSGRpRegisterPmbrAddress, are not implemented currently. Therefore, when you query the values of these objects, the value 0 is returned.
Since the PIM-DM mode is not defined in the MIB protocol, when you query the values of hwPimSGUpstreamPruneState, hwPimSGUpstreamPruneLimitTimer, hwPimSGOriginatorState, and hwPimSGStateRefreshTimer, the value 0 is returned.
hwPimSGITable
This table stores information about interfaces related to (S, G) entries on a switch. An interface has this table only when one of the three situations is met:
local_receiver_include (S, G, I) is True.
The Join/Prune status is not NoInfo.
The assert status is not NoInfo.
The indexes of this table are hwPimSGAddressType, hwPimSGGrpAddress, hwPimSGSrcAddress, and hwPimSGIIfIndex.
