HUAWEI-LLDP-MIB
Functions Overview
HUAWEI-LLDP-MIB is an extension of the public LLDP-MIB. It provides the following functions:
Configuring whether to enable or disable the LLDP protocol globally
Configuring the management IP address of the NMS
Clearing the statistics information of LLDP packets sent and received
Enabling or Disabling the function of globally giving an alarm
Realizing the topology of a local device
Giving an alarm to the NMS when the IP address of the NMS is changed
The root object is:
iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).private(4).enterprises(1).huawei(2011).huaweiMgmt(5).hwDatacomm(25).hwLldpMIB(134)
Relationship Between Tables
The index of the hwLldpPortConfigTable is lldpPortConfigPortNum, index of the lldpPortConfigTable in the LLDP-MIB.

OCTET STRING (SIZE (4)) |
Read-write |
This object specifies the management IP address of a local device. A management IP address is contained in the management address TLV of a LLDP packet. It is used for the NMS to identify a device and manage the network. If no management address is configured or an invalid management address is configured, the system sets an IP address in the address list as the management address. The system selects the IP address in the following sequence: IP address of the device connected to the iMaster NCE-Campus, loopback interface address, management port address, VLANIF interface address, VBDIF interface address, Layer 3 Ethernet interface address, and Sub-interface. Among the IP addresses of the same type, the system selects the smallest one. If the system fails to find a management IP address, the bridge MAC address is used as the management address. |
