Possible Causes

The RADIUS authentication server is Down.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the server is closed on the RADIUS authentication server.

    • If yes, no action is required.
    • If no, perform 2.

  2. Check whether the link status is normal, and whether the RADIUS authentication server and the device can ping through each other.

    • If the link is abnormal, restore the link.
    • If the link is normal, perform 3.

  3. Check whether the configured shared key is correct, and then run the display radius-server configuration command.

    • If the shared key is incorrect, you need to run the radius-server shared-key cipher key-string command to configure the shared key for the RADIUS server.
    • If the shared key is correct, perform 4.

  4. Contact the technical personnel.
