Possible Causes

The status of all Trunk member interfaces became Down.

Procedure

  1. Run the display this command in the Trunk interface view to check whether the Trunk interface is shut down.

  2. Run the undo shutdown command in the Trunk interface view to check whether the alarm is cleared.

  3. Run the display this command in the member interface view to check whether member interfaces are shut down.

  5. Check whether the cable and optical module are loosened or dropped.

  2. Run the undo shutdown command in the interface view to check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to Step 6.

    • If not, go to Step 3.

  3. Check whether the cable and optical module are loosened or dropped.

    • If so, go to Step 5.

    • If not, go to Step 4.

  4. Connect the physical link correctly and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to Step 6.

    • If not, go to Step 5.

  5. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  6. End.

  1. Run the display eth-trunk command to check whether the member interfaces of all Eth-Trunks that work in LACP mode are being used in Up state and have traffic. If there is any member interface that is not being used, run the undo eth-trunk command in the corresponding interface view to configure the member interface to leave the Eth-Trunk that works in LACP mode. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

  2. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  3. End.
