Parameters
Name | Meaning |
---|---|
oid | Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm. |
Service ID | Indicates the ID of the service. |
Service Description | Indicates description of the service. |
Recommended Threshold | Indicates the recommended configuration threshold for the service. The threshold cannot be changed. |
Possible Causes
Cause 1: The number of IGMP snooping queriers configured on the device exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="IGMP snooping querier").
Cause 2: The number of user VLANs bound to a multicast VLAN exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="multicast user VLAN").
Cause 3: The number of user VLANs bound to a multicast VLAN on an interface exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="interface-based multicast user VLAN").

Cause 5: The number of interfaces configured with sFlow exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="sFlow sampling interface").
Cause 6: The number of interfaces configured with GVRP exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="GVRP interface").
Cause 7: The total limit on the number of MAC addresses configured for port security on interfaces exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="port security MAC address").
Cause 8: The number of interfaces configured with DLDP exceeds the recommended threshold (Service Description="DLDP interface").
Procedure
- Cause 1: The number of IGMP snooping queriers configured on the device exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs for the first time, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 2: The number of user VLANs bound to a multicast VLAN exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs for the first time, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 3: The number of user VLANs bound to a multicast VLAN on an interface exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs for the first time, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 4: The number of interfaces configured with storm control exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 5: The number of interfaces configured with sFlow exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 6: The number of interfaces configured with GVRP exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 7: The total limit on the number of MAC addresses configured for port security on interfaces exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
- Cause 8: The number of interfaces configured with DLDP exceeds the recommended threshold.
When this situation occurs, the device generates an alarm message to notify you that the configuration exceeds the recommended threshold. Determine whether to modify the current configuration according to actual service requirements.
