L2BPTNL
MID_L2BPTNL_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.42.2.1.7.15 hwL2ProtocolTunnelDropThresholdRaising
Description
MID_L2BPTNL/1/L2BPTNL_DROP_THRESHOLD_ALARM:OID [oid] The number of the protocol transmit on the port reach the drop threshold. (PortName=[OCTET], ProtocolName=[OCTET], Dropthreshold=[INTEGER])
The number of Layer 2 protocol packets transmitted on the interface enabled with Layer 2 protocol transparent transmission reached the threshold.
Attribute
Alarm ID | Alarm Severity | Alarm Type |
---|---|---|
1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.42.2.1.7.15 | Critical |
communicationsAlarm (2) |
Parameters
Name | Meaning |
---|---|
oid |
Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm. |
PortName |
Name of the interface that is enabled with Layer 2 protocol transparent transmission |
ProtocolName |
Name of the protocol whose packets are transparently transmitted |
Dropthreshold |
Threshold for discarding Layer 2 protocol packets |
Possible Causes
The interface enabled with Layer 2 protocol transparent transmission was configured with the threshold for discarding Layer 2 protocol packets, and the number of Layer 2 protocol packets that were transparently transmitted on the interface reached the threshold.
Procedure
- Run the display l2protocol-tunnel statistics command
to check the number of discarded packets and check whether insecure
attack packets cause excessive transparently transmitted packets.
- If there are attack packets, configure security functions to block these packets.
- If there are no attack packets, no handling is required. If the threshold for discarding Layer 2 protocol packets on an interface enabled with Layer 2 protocol transparent transmission needs to be reconfigured, run the l2protocol-tunnel drop-threshold command.
MID_L2BPTNL_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.42.2.1.7.16 hwL2ProtocolTunnelDropThresholdFalling
Description
MID_L2BPTNL/1/L2BPTNL_DROP_THRESHOLD_RESUME:OID [oid] The number of the protocol transmit on the port below the drop threshold. (PortName=[OCTET], ProtocolName=[OCTET], Dropthreshold=[INTEGER])
The trap was generated when the number of Layer 2 protocol packets passing the interface enabled with Layer 2 protocol transparent transmission fell below the threshold. This is a matching trap of hwL2ProtocolTunnelDropThresholdRaising.
