In an SVF system, ASs and APs share the CAPWAP link specifications. That is, the maximum number of ASs and APs cannot exceed the maximum number of CAPWAP links. For example, when an S12710 functions as the parent in an SVF system and 256 ASs have connected to the SVF system, a maximum of 5888 (6144-256) APs can connect to the SVF system.
- S12704, S12708, S12710, S12712, S12700E-4, S12700E-8, S12700E-12: The maximum numbers of ASs and APs do not exceed 32 and 96 respectively.
- S9712, S9706, S7712, S7706, S7706 PoE, S9703, S7703, S7703 PoE, S6720-HI, S6730-H, S6730S-H, S5720-HI, S5730-HI, S5731-H, S5731S-H, S5732-H: The maximum numbers of ASs and APs do not exceed 16 and 48 respectively.
- S9303, S9306, S9310, S9312: The maximum numbers of ASs do not exceed 16.
- S6720-EI, S6720S-EI, S6720-SI, S6720S-S, S6720S-SI, S6730-S, S6730S-S: The maximum numbers of ASs do not exceed 16.
- The preceding AS or AP specifications apply to scenarios where all ASs or APs go online. If both ASs and APs go online, it is recommended that the value of AS*3+AP do not exceed the maximum number of APs.
- When the number of ASs or APs exceeds the maximum value, a high CPU usage may occur, affecting existing services.
